Rob Guest is dead.
When my brother came home and said, "I heard that the Wizard in Wicked died." I said, "Oh not really, it's ambiguous." Which understandably confused him since I was talking about the character and he was talking about the actor.
It's all very sad because he was fantastic as the Wizard and I am so grateful I was lucky enough to see him perform. How amazing would it have been to have seen Wicked on Wednesday night, his last performance?
