Zach and Miri Make a Porno

I have a huge gash on my knee, gah. The scar should go nicely with the one already there. Anyway, last night, Jo and I attended an advance screening (very advanced! it doesn't come out until January in Australia apparently) of Zach and Miri Make a Porno. It is so so so dirty. For once, the R18+ rating is justified. A lot of the humour is gross-out sex humour, but there are also a lot of genuinely funny moments. Justin Long in particular as a gay porn star is hysterical. I don't think we can emphasize how hilarious he is. Kudos to him for totally pulling off the role when he's mostly known for his geeky roles and from the Mac vs PC ads. But the movie is quite good; everybody in the cinema was laughing throughout the whole movie, which I take as a good sign.

The movie was conveniently on Chapel St, so we got in a bit of shopping. Of course. Not that I bought anything (I'd bought some things the day before) but Jo got some things. But in Zomp Shoez there were a pair of gladiator sandals almost identical to the Society for Rational Dress ones available on tobi.com still. And the ironic thing? The Zomp ones cost more. And they looked so awesome on. a;sldkgjaslkdjsgsdg why does the world mock me?
