Specifically, my sources for finding new designers include General Pants Co., which I've talked about before; The Grand Social, which is the online retailer of choice for many Australian independent labels; the weekly Melbourne culture e-newsletter ThreeThousand; and the free streetwear magazine, Attitude, which is circulated four times a year and can be found around the CBD. I've picked up copies in Degraves Street, Melb Central and Flinders St.
I've found that online shopping makes a WORLD of difference to the choices available. Don't go shopping at Myer or David Jones, go online. The Grand Social currently have a Christmas promotion going on, where anything that you order from any of the labels they carry is only $5 Australia-wide until Christmas. It is so much easier in that it saves you time, you can find labels that are hard to find instore, and the array of labels available online is much greater.
Here are some of my tshirt choices, I'll post about other items of clothing later; hope this helped Dan.
